It is a welcome opportunity for Ms. Shudufhadzo to increase her personal and professional endeavors, gain personal development skills, and a platform to communicate her vision and goals of being an advocate for economic transformation amongst other things, and thereby empowering children and women” Mr. Jeleni further said that “we are ecstatic and honored to welcome her back to our Province, our District, our Municipality and our village, as she will inspire others to believe in themselves with her poise, confidence, some of whom we believe they shall be motivated to take their rightful positions in the business space” and he concluded by saying “as the chamber we are committed to working with Miss South Africa to achieve her goals, and we call on all our business communities to rally behind her”
As the business community, the LCCI advocates for the integration of entrepreneurial skills in all social upliftment projects, and we are pleased that the Miss South Africa pageant is a platform for ambitious young South African women, through which contestants can showcase their leadership skills, receive world-renowned coaching in addition to advanced networking, business and life skills. We would like to call on all our social partners to emulate Miss South Africa concept by ensuring that all their projects are geared towards creating useful skills beyond meeting basic needs that they exist to address. This approach will go a long way in eradicating social ills and dependency on handouts in our country.
As Ms. Shudufhadzo Musida becomes the brand ambassador for our country on our behalf as a province, we call on all young people to use this opportunity to showcase the many talents that we have as a province to the world. Let the youth see our newly crowned Miss South Africa as their door to the world, equally, we call on our government to create a conducive environment for our youth to benefit maximally from this opportunity of having Miss South Africa come from our Province, this will ensure that we are left with a lasting legacy that can also be an attraction to tourists throughout the world, and thus grow our economy.
