STAFF NURSE GRADE 1 TO 3 (X7 POSTS)
SALARY: Grade 1: R220 614 per annum
Grade 2: R262 287 per annum
Grade 3: R306 798 per annum
CENTRE : Tygerberg Hospital, Parow Valley
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate qualification that allows
registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a staff nurse.
Registration with Professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff
Nurse. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years
appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the
SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years
appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the
SANC as Staff Nurse. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work
shifts, public holidays, after-hours, night duty, and weekend cover.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to work independently and under
pressure.
DUTIES:
Provide quality basic nursing care according to procedures and policy. Provide
basic nursing care under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered
Professional Nurse. Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
and the public. Development and implementation of basic patient care plans.
Maintain professional growth, ethical standards, and self-development.
Accurate recordkeeping and effective utilization of resources.
