Job Advert Summary
PG Bison is offering 20 apprenticeship opportunities for motivated individuals in various trades. Successful candidates will undergo intensive on-the-job training, complete FP&M Seta theoretical modules, and gain practical exposure to plant processes, maintenance, and installations.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 with Maths & Science OR N3 Maths & Science (N4 advantageous)
No prior experience required
Strong technical aptitude, teamwork, communication skills and eagerness to learn
Duties & Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the completion of all required FP&M Seta theoretical modules for the trade.
Complete logbooks or written assessment tools supplied by PG Bison and/or a training provider to record relevant workplace experiences and attend all study periods and theoretical learning sessions with the training provider, and undertake all learning conscientiously.
He/she will undergo intensive on-the-job training and other related training, including the plant process.
In addition, the incumbent will be trained and exposed to problem-solving and troubleshootingskills, provide support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability, and demonstrate the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations.
Candidates must be willing to sign an 18-month apprenticeship program contract with PG Bison and the FP&M Seta.
