Rainbow General Workers X2
Purpose of the role:
Rainbow Chicken is actively on the lookout for a general worker to provide support on general production requirements to ensure effective running of the business.
Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12 (or equivalent literacy and numeric level)

0 – 6 months experience in the manufacturing environment
Roles & Responsibilities:
Production
- To ensure all required resources are available in line with production requirement.
- To report any mechanical/electrical issues to the Control Room/ Supervisor that may affect the smooth running of the plant.
- Accurately record any data required for production analysis e.g. tipping logs
- To respond to manual production bottlenecks e.g. clearing choked elevators
- Conduct visual checks e.g., availability of raw material and report any deviation to the control room/ supervisor
- To ensure compliance with applicable work instructions and procedures
- To perform any reasonable task as requested by the control room/supervisor
- To perform daily stock duties
General Administration
- Good housekeeping and ad hoc duties, including general filing and data recording.
Information and Data management
- Ensure accurate data capture onto production documents to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.
Teamwork and Self-Management
- Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities, and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing, and self-development.
- Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
- Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof, and provide appropriate resolution.
