ROAD WORKS FOREMAN (X9 POSTS)
The Department of Public Works, Roads, and Transport in Mpumalanga Province invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Road Works Foreman. A total of nine (9) posts are available across various districts within the province.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible for the construction, maintenance, and supervision of government road infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to improving the province’s road network.
SALARY: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)

REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 Certificate (NQF level 5 as recognised by SAQA) and successful
completion of the Road Work course plus a road worker experience. A valid driver’s
licence. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of legislative
prescripts governing public service, computer literacy. Planning, organizing
and solving skills. Good interpersonal relations.
DUTIES:
Supervise maintenance projects. Execute equipment supervision. Execute
safety procedures and control. Oversee on-site training. Ensure compliance
with legislation. Oversee staff utilization and staff management. Maintain
worker performance management.
